Healing The Mother Wound

Erika

One of the number one questions I get from clients in the Sistahood or my community online it's : "How have you healed the relationship with your mom?"

It's no surprise as mom and I have been through a lot. I shared multiple episodes about my experience growing up with a bi-polar mother and also had her on the show in 2022 to share her story of struggle and overcoming…
Many of the women I speak to have a deep mother would and in this episode I speak about some of the steps I took (and I've shared with my clients) in order to start healing that relationship.

Ultimately in order to heal we must commit to doing the inner work.
Many of our parents and carers did the best they could with what they knew and what they had, yet many of us suffered because of this.
There would be no way that I would be here today with healthy boundaries and an incredible ability to communicate my needs to my mom, if it wasn't for the work.
If this episode speaks to you please share it with someone who needs it.
