It has been a weird few days post implant removal surgery. The pain medication has caused some really tough side effects that caused me to feel like I’ve been in a daze for the last few days. I couldn’t focus, my headaches were intense and my expectations as to how quickly I’d be able to bounce back from this were way off.
This has been quite an intense experience and has required a lot more rest and healing than my initial breast surgery 14 years ago. I have stopped taking the pain medication and have now started to feel better.
This is the second episode in my breast implant removal series. Make sure to listen to the previous episode first to get the full story!
